And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Thanks for your insights on the all-original run (so far), the 30th synergy, and the parallel bookends to the sets! Well said!
Check out the 46 days jam again. It was a tour-de-force! And I loved how the Jibboo bass & drumz had some dance-tronica pulsating through it in the jam. Mike & Fish are keepin' it fresh!
As for set two, oh yeah!!! Chalkdust is one for the ages, Ghost was absolutely beautiful with a melody line that Trey discovered and continued to express in a deep way, Simple was delicate, enchanting, and ethereal, and Hood had a motif in it that spoke volumes to my soul, not at the same level as, but not unlike the Hood from Big Cypress.
I am so grateful for the ongoing specimens of beauty for which Trey, Page, Mike, & Fish are the conduits.
Peace & Love in 2014,
Markus
